Worst Day Ever

I participated in the 10 Paces sketch swap with current MICA students recently. These 10 paces projects always seem to end up happening at inopportune times for me, in this case, I was swamped with a variety of types of work, both illustrative and non, which left little room to get this done. I was trying to do something fun with the colors, but ended up getting completely frustrated, and was never able to get them how I wanted. They sort of look like vomit, unfortunately, and I really wish I had the time to actually get them where I wanted. Its a cute idea though. This was Lauren Lawler's interpretation of the Worst Day Ever, and my final from her sketch below.
